Ibu Gilang is an active English teacher at SMPN 2 Cileunyi Kabupaten Bandung, West Java. Her main expertise is in the area of high order thinking, social-emotional, and curriculum development for English language education.
Ahmad Munir, M.Ed., Ph.D.
Pak Munir currently serves as the Head of the English Language Education Study Program. His research expertise is in the area of English teacher education, encouraging the theorizing practice of the teaching of English among English teachers.
Ibu Wid is a senior lecturer in the area of English Linguistics, State University of Surabaya. She earned her doctoral degree with a focus on translation studies for children's books.

It is a crucial component of the learning process that is used to convey the material content of a lesson. During the COVID-19 pandemic, students are expected to be creative and innovate. Therefore, the students should be able to create or produce digital learning media in the field of education, local culture, nationalism, humanism, and friendship.

It’s always challenging to conduct online learning during the crisis. It is even harder to deal learners form lower education levels, such as primary schools. English Department Unesa proudly presents a sharing session of ELT Best Practice with teachers on the teaching of English for students of elementary to university levels during the pandemic.
For the upcoming edition, there will be three teachers from different levels who will share their best practices of the teaching of English during the pandemic.
Ibu Yeni Matofani, elementary teacher who’s been managing online language learning for the students at SD Al-Hikmah Surabaya
Ibu Eka Devi Mayasari, a prominent teacher who’s engaged with several student’s international activities wants to share her experience on managing online learning using international curriculum during the pandemic
Ibu Rahayu Kuswardani, a lecturer specialized on Applied Linguistics will share her experience on using virtual mode for the teaching of English
ELT Best Practice is an academic forum managed by English Department, Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS), State University of Surabaya. In this second edition of 2020, due to social distancing during global pandemic of covid-19, we're holding a special session with webinar concept through the Zoom platform. The topics that will be delivered by the speakers are teaching English for elementary schools during the pandemic and getting to know the basic elements of virtual learning at university level.
